Towards the north of the city centre is Kelham Island, which in recent years has completely transformed, from a cluster of run-down industrial units to a neighbourhood that is thriving. Everyone says breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it’s only right we do it at CJ’s Brunch Club. Based inside the very cool Cutlery Works food hall, their menu has everything from ‘Crumpcakes’ slathered with maple syrup and bacon bits to your classic all-day breakfast, sure to keep you full for the activities ahead. Next up is urban axe-throwing at BattleAxe. Each lane fits up to 10 players so there’s plenty of room for you and a group of mates! Each session is 70 minutes, and you’ll learn how to throw an axe and even have a tournament with your friends. You can find them at The Paint Factory, 163 Rutland Rd.
